Re-Opening after Covid-19

It's been a long few months of quarantine for us all.  Such Good Dogs will continue to offer dog training lesson over FaceTime.

Maui County is starting to allow us to open back up our business.  We will be re-opening to hands-on training sessions starting June 15th, 2020.  Training sessions going forward will require the use of masks, (both myself and my clients), as well as a few other restrictions.  We are very happy to be able to get back to some hands-on training, but we continue to be careful moving forward and will continue to use safe practices to help prevent further spread of Covid 19.

K9 Fitness with Elite Paws

I was very excited to get to work with another dog trainer who focuses on K9 fitness and rehab today.  She did an evaluation of each of my dogs and developed a fitness program for each.  They each have their own areas to work on to build strength.  If your dog has had any injury, or you have a working dog (as mine are), I would highly recommend checking into it.  It's like physical therapy for you dog.

Ahsoka Agility

Ahsoka and I have been taking agility classes for about a year now.  She really loves going to agility class.  Agility is a great way to bong with your dog and especially great for high energy dogs like Ahsoka.  If your dog has way too much energy to burn, look into an agility class in your area.  There are even ways you can practice at home.  We bought poles that stick in the grass to use as weave poles.  We have a hula hoop that we use for the agility hoop.  And it is easy to create jumps with a simple broom and canned food.

Agility is definitely trial and error.
